Abstract:
A method for producing hexagonal boron nitride single crystals including mixing boron nitride crystals with a solvent thereby obtaining a mixture, heating and melting the mixture under high-temperature and high-pressure thereby obtaining a melted mixture, and rectystallizing the melted mixture thereby producing hexagonal boron nitride single crystals, wherein the solvent is boronitride of alkali earth metal, or boronitride of alkali metal and the boronitride of alkali earth metal.
Abstract:
A process for producing a resin molded article, comprising steps of (1) plasticizing a resin composition containing an organic fiber and a thermoplastic resin with an injection-molding machine, (2) injecting the plasticized resin composition into a mold cavity of the injection-molding machine, and (3) pressure-holding against the resin composition in the mold cavity for a pressure-holding time of 0.5 to 60 seconds under holding-pressure of 70 to 300 MPa.
Abstract:
A portable electronic device having a power supply unit and an IC chip that conducts wireless communication with a reader/writer and operates when power is supplied from the power supply unit includes a first determining unit that determines whether or not the portable electronic device, in a state in which the IC chip is operating moved, according to a result of detection by a sensor to detect movement, a second determining unit that determines whether or not a signal from an opposing device equipped with the reader/writer was received, and a power control unit that conducts control to allow a state in which power is supplied to the IC chip from the power supply unit when the first determining unit determines that the portable electronic device did not move and the second determining unit determines that the signal was received.
Abstract:
A rotation transmission member is composed of a shaft-like metal insert member having a first gear section on the external surface thereof and a resin gear resin-molded on the external surface of one end of the metal insert member and having a second gear section on the external surface thereof. The first gear section is formed almost over the entire length of the metal insert member and provides one end thereof as an insert portion on which the resin gear is to be resin-molded. Thus, it becomes unnecessary to provide a joint portion (the insert portion) between the metal insert member and the resin gear with the machining of any particular shape for preventing the coming-off therebetween.
Abstract:
The solid-state imaging device includes: a first node for receiving a first signal from outside the solid-state imaging device; a second node for receiving a second signal from outside the solid-state imaging device; a test signal selection circuit for outputting the first signal received at the first node and the second signal received at the second node as a test signal by switching between the first and second signals at desired timing; and a test signal input circuit for supplying the test signal from the test signal selection circuit to an input of the A/D converter.
Abstract:
An input processing device includes an input member having an input pad and a detecting section that detects a position where an indicator touches the input pad and a processing section that inputs a character or a figure on the basis of an input signal obtained from the input member, a document tool board and a handwriting tool board are displayed on a display screen and an input locus display region where a locus drawn with the input pad is displayed and a character display region where a character or a symbol recognized from the locus is displayed are displayed when a document tool and a handwriting tool are started by a processing operation of the processing section, and the character or the symbol displayed in the character display region is transferred to the document tool by a predetermined operation.
Abstract:
A surface of a sample is observed by acquiring an image of the surface of the sample. An electron beam I irradiated onto the surface of the sample in which wiring including an insulation material and an electrically conductive material is formed. Electrons that acquired structure information regarding a structure of the surface of the sample are detected. An image of the surface of the sample is acquired by a result of the detection of electrons. The surface of the sample is observed using the acquired image of the surface of the sample. The electron beam is irradiated onto the surface of the sample in a state where a brightness of the insulation material and a brightness of the electrically conductive material in the image of the surface of the sample are set equal to each other.
Abstract:
A flush toilet for discharging waste using flush water supplied from a flush water source, including a bowl portion having a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface, a rim portion formed on the top edge portion thereof, and a shelf portion formed between the rim portion and the waste receiving surface; a water discharge path for discharging waste, the path including an inlet which is connected at the bottom of the bowl portion; a water spouting portion for spouting flush water onto the shelf portion of the bowl portion to form a swirl flow; and a water conduit for supplying flush water to the spouting portion. The water spouting portion is formed on the rim portion, and a first swirl trajectory of a first circulation and a second swirl trajectory of a second circulation are mutually different when flush water spouted from the water spouting portion swirls along the rim portion.
Abstract:
In a solid state imaging device to be included in an imaging device such as a digital camera, a ramp run-up AD conversion circuit for AD converting a pixel signal is provided corresponding to one or a plurality of pixel columns. A column counter provided in each ramp run-up AD conversion circuit holds an upper bit, and a clock signal is supplied to one or plural latches for holding a lower bit. Thus, fast and accurate AD conversion can be realized while suppressing increase of clock frequency.
Abstract:
A meta-information storing section records a plurality of pieces of taxonomy data in ranks. A plurality of pieces of leaf meta-data respectively correspond to pieces of the lowest taxonomy data. A database records a plurality of pieces of real data which respectively correspond to pieces of leaf meta-data. A server control section searches for upper taxonomy data corresponding to the keyword included in a search request and acquires lower taxonomy data associated with the upper taxonomy data. The server control section is capable of repeatedly acquiring further lower taxonomy data until the lowest taxonomy data is specified, and as a result, acquiring leaf meta-data. The server control section samples real data corresponding to all of the leaf meta-data from the database and outputs it.
