The limiting surface may comprise rotatable rollers mounted to the body, or a continuous arcuate surface. The position limiter may include a mounting arm for mounting a conveyor belt scraper at the front of the position limiter.

Abstract: A self-biasing conveyor belt scraper for a conveyor belt trained around a sprocket includes a base mounted on a shaft below the sprocket and a tapering scraper tip extending from the base. The top of the base contacts the conveyor belt at a first location. The conveyor belt pushes against the top of the base to bias the tapering scraper tip into contact with the conveyor belt at a second location.
