Abstract:
The invention relates to a vibrating plate apparatus that comprises a vibrating plate (12) on which the user desiring muscular toning rests, a vibration motor member connected to the vibrating plate for vibrating the latter at a predetermined frequency, a plurality of air cushions provided under the vibrating plate for dampening the vibration effect, and an air tank in communication with each of the air cushions and in which the air pressure is maintained at a predetermined value. The tank establishes the air pressure in at least one of the air cushions at a predetermined value independently from the weight of the user. The motor member includes two motors rotating in opposite directions, each of the two motors including a set of flyweights driven by the rotation axis of the motor and having a centre of gravity that is offset relative to the axis, each of the two sets having the same mass and being symmetrical relative to each other and including at least one movable flyweight that can assume at least one position for varying the vibration amplitude of the vibrating plate.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a vibrating plate apparatus comprising a vibrating plate (12) on which the user is placed, a vibration motor (28) rigidly connected to the vibrating plate so as to cause the latter to vibrate, a plurality of air cushions (55-1, 55-2, 55-3) placed under the vibrating plate so as to cushion the effect of the vibrations, and a compressed air source (60) in communication with each of the air cushions and suitable for setting the air pressure in at least one of the air cushions to a predetermined value, regardless of the weight of the user. An actuator (70-1, 70-2, 70-3) placed under each air cushion is connected to a sensor/controller (72-1, 72-2, 72-3) that is linked to a control unit (64). Each sensor/controller constantly detects the air pressure in the air cushion corresponding to the actuator and controls alternating movement of the actuator on the basis of said pressure at a frequency predetermined under the control of the control unit so as to obtain an oscillating movement or an oscillating and rotating movement of the vibrating plate.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a device comprising: an anatomical portion (1) of part of a subject observed in vivo, including at least partly the corporeal cavity or cavities (53), and including a natural orifice (50) with which communicates at least one of said cavities; said anatomical portion (1) is obtained by at least a section (51, 52) of said observed part, and is treated for preservation by a technique called plastination; at least a sensor (2 to 6) for detecting and/or quantifying said product at least at a site or zone of the corporeal cavity or cavities; at least a closure element (12) placed against said anatomical portion (1) at each sectional area; optionally an introducing device (30) placed opposite said natural orifice, or partly engaged therein, for introducing said product on the basis of predetermined parameters.
Abstract:
The physical exercise appliance comprises a vibrating and/or oscillating plate (12) on which the user positions himself, vibration and/or oscillation means suitable for vibrating or oscillating the plate, a computer (30) having a touch screen (32) and a keypad (34) which are suitable for entering the operating programs of the appliance, and a control unit suitable for transforming the parameters defined by a program stored in the computer into signals for controlling the vibration and/or oscillation means. The vibration and/or oscillation means consist of at least three electromagnetic rams which are fixed to the base of the appliance and are suitable for lifting the plate, each of the rams being controlled independently of the others by electrical signals received from the control unit so as to oscillate and/or vibrate the plate.
Abstract:
A boresighting device to equip a turret provided with a barrel and one or several sight system(s) each with an optical system includes: a deflection target intended to be positioned outside the barrel, at a muzzle brake of the barrel; a housing intended to be positioned outside the barrel, at a shaft of the barrel. The housing includes: a first optics system provided with a deflection camera, the first optics system being used to determine a parallelism error between a firing line from the shaft and that from the muzzle brake; and a second optics system provided with a boresighting camera, the second optics system being used to determine a parallelism error between the firing line from the shaft and an optics line from the sight system(s). The deflection target integrates a geometric figure serving as a reference point for the first optics system.
