Abstract: The electric machine comprises a stator core (2) provided with a winding (3), a rotor (4), a gas circuit for cooling heating parts of the machine and water coolers (6) for cooling the gas in order to remove heat from the gas circuit, all of them being mounted in a casing (1). Each of the coolers (6) for cooling the gas is arranged between a dismountable cover (26) of the casing (1) and the stator core (2). The cooler (6) for cooling the gas comprises an inlet header (7) with a connection (10) provided for supplying a cooling liquid, an outlet header (8) with a connection (11) provided for removing the cooling liquid, dismountable ribbed pipes (12) for cooling the gas, which pipes are arranged in the axial direction of the machine in two staggering rows and are connected directly with the headers (7, 8), and a clamp assembly (14), which is comprised of cleats (15) all connected together and embracing all the pipes (12) for securing them through resilient elements (13).
