Abstract: The present invention relates to a graft copolymer, a thermoplastic resin composition including the graft copolymer, and a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition. More specifically, the present invention provides a graft copolymer having a shell in which silica modified with a specific compound is dispersed within a specific content range, a thermoplastic resin composition including the graft copolymer, and a method of preparing the thermoplastic resin composition.In the graft copolymer according to the present invention, since silica modified with a specific compound is dispersed in the periphery of rubber particles, that is, in the shell of the graft copolymer, the dispersibility of the graft copolymer may be improved. Therefore, the graft copolymer may have transparency equal to or better than a conventional graft copolymer. In addition, compared to a resin composition having an equivalent rubber content, the thermoplastic resin composition of the present invention may have excellent physical properties, such as impact strength and tensile strength.

Abstract: Provided is a method of preparing a graft polymer, which includes: adding a diene-based rubber polymer, a first monomer mixture including a (meth)acrylate-based monomer and an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and a reactive ultraviolet (UV) stabilizer to a reactor and carrying out polymerization to prepare a composite rubber polymer; and graft-polymerizing a second monomer mixture including a (meth)acrylate-based monomer, an aromatic vinyl-based monomer, and a vinyl cyanide-based monomer to the composite rubber polymer to prepare a graft polymer, wherein the reactive UV stabilizer is added in an amount of 0.1 to 2 parts by weight based on 100 parts by weight of the sum of the diene-based rubber polymer, the first monomer mixture, and the second monomer mixture.

Abstract: The present invention provides a thermoplastic resin composition which includes: A-1) a first copolymer including a first conjugated diene-based polymer, an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based monomer unit, and an aromatic vinyl-based monomer unit, wherein the first conjugated diene-based polymer has an average particle diameter of 0.05 to 0.2 μm; A-2) a second copolymer including a second conjugated diene-based polymer, an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based monomer unit, and an aromatic vinyl-based monomer unit, wherein the second conjugated diene-based polymer has an average particle diameter of 0.23 to 0.5 μm; B) a third copolymer including an alkyl (meth)acrylate-based monomer unit and an aromatic vinyl-based monomer unit; and C) a plasticizer having a viscosity of 700 to 10,000 cP, wherein the plasticizer is included at 0.3 to 5 wt %. The thermoplastic resin composition is excellent in all of transparency, impact resistance, and flowability.
