Abstract: The present disclosure provides a new and effective symbol-level SRS hopping pattern in a slot, and specifically a method for transmitting an SRS and an apparatus therefor. The method comprising receiving first information regarding the number of consecutive symbols L for transmission of the SRS and second information regarding a symbol-level repetition number R for the transmission of the SRS, wherein L is equal to 4 and R is equal to 2; and transmitting the SRS within the slot based on the first information and the second information using a first frequency resource and a second frequency resource, wherein a first R consecutive symbols, among L consecutive symbols within the slot, are used to transmit the SRS in the first frequency resource, and wherein a second R consecutive symbols, among the L consecutive symbols within the slot, are used to transmit the SRS in the second frequency resource.
