Abstract: A built-in type compressor/condenser unit for an air conditioner with an efficient installation structure for installing an increased capacity outdoor unit is provided. The built-in type compressor/condenser unit includes a louver frame installed on a rectangular shaped space formed on an outer wall of a building. The louver frame is divided into a suction area and a discharge area, each with a plurality of louver blades. The compressor/condenser unit casing is positioned proximate the louver frame, with the surface of the casing which faces the suction area and the discharge area of the louver frame open, and the remaining surfaces of the casing closed. A compressor, an air-cooled condenser, and a cooling fan are installed in the compressor/condenser unit casing.

Abstract: Una unidad exterior de tipo succión/descarga frontal para un acondicionador de aire, que comprende: una carcasa de unidad exterior (10) que tiene una unidad de superficie frontal (60) abierta para ser conectada al exterior de un edificio, ambas unidades laterales (12a, 12b) formadas en ambos extremos de la unidad de superficie frontal, una unidad de superficie trasera (12c) formada para enfrentarse a la unidad de superficie frontal, una unidad de superficie inferior (14) formada en los extremos inferiores de la unidad de superficie frontal y la unidad de superficie trasera y una unidad de superficie superior (16) formada en los extremos superiores de la unidad de superficie frontal y la unidad de superficie trasera, el interior de la carcasa de la unidad exterior que está separada del interior del edificio por ambas de las unidades laterales (12a, 12b), la unidad de superficie trasera (12c), la unidad de superficie interior (14) y la unidad de superficie superior (16); un compresor (20) para comprimir un gas refrigerante suministrado desde una unidad interior a la carcasa de la unidad exterior; un condensador de aire enfriado (30) instalado en la carcasa de la unidad exterior (10), para condensar el gas refrigerante suministrado desde el compresor (20); y un ventilador de enfriamiento (40) para succionar aire exterior desde el exterior del edificio a través de la unidad de superficie frontal (60) y el condensador de aire enfriado (30) y descargar el aire con calor intercambiado en el condensador de aire enfriado (30) al exterior del edificio a través de la unidad de superficie frontal; por lo cual dicho condensador de aire enfriado tiene una sección transversal en forma de U y comprende al menos una unidad redondeada (30a, 30b); caracterizada por que dicho condensador de aire enfriado (30) se dispone para enfrentarse a ambas de las unidades laterales (12a, 12b) en una distancia predeterminada (D) y para enfrentarse a la unidad de superficie frontal (60); una cubierta superior (32) está instalada en el lado superior de un espacio formado entre el condensador de aire enfriado (30) y las superficies de la carcasa de la unidad exterior (10) que se enfrenta al condensador de aire enfriado (30), para inducir aire exterior succionado desde el exterior del edificio a través de la unidad de superficie frontal (60) al espacio; un radio (R) de la unidad redondeada (30a, 30b) del condensador de aire enfriado (30) es al menos dos veces tan grande como una distancia predeterminada (D) del espacio entre el condensador de aire enfriado (30) y ambas de las unidades laterales (12a, 12b) de la carcasa de la unidad exterior (10).

The front suction/discharge type outdoor unit includes an outdoor unit suction casing having its one surface externally opened, and sucking external air for heat exchange, and an outdoor unit discharge casing being separated from or coupled to the outdoor unit suction casing, sucking external air through the outdoor unit suction casing, having its one surface externally opened, and discharging heat exchanged external air. Here, opened surfaces are respectively formed in the outdoor unit suction casing and the outdoor unit discharge casing to connect them to discharge the sucked external air.
