    Abstract: A display device may include first to third semiconductor light-emitting devices in each of a plurality of pixels, a sensing element, and a circuit block in each of the plurality of pixels. The sensing element may include a fourth semiconductor light-emitting device. The first to third semiconductor light-emitting devices may emit light during the first section by a power source having a forward bias.     Abstract: A method for operating an illumination system that includes at least one illumination device, a server configured to perform wireless communication with the illumination device, and a terminal configured to perform optical communication with the illumination device. The method includes sending information regarding an operation mode of the illumination device from the terminal to the server, sending a control signal from the server to the illumination device based on the information regarding an operation mode, performing visible light communication based on identification information of the illumination device when the illumination device receives the control signal, detecting the identification information of the illumination device through the terminal based on the visible light communication, matching the detected identification information with location information of the illumination device, and sending the identification information and the location information of the illumination device that are matched each other to the server.

    Abstract: Discussed is a display device including a substrate, semiconductor light-emitting elements on the substrate, flip-flops which can apply an electrical signal to the semiconductor light-emitting elements to maintain the semiconductor light-emitting elements in a light-emitting state for a predetermined time interval, scan electrodes and data electrodes electrically connected to the flip-flops, respectively, and a driver. When a frame synchronization signal is generated during a time interval from a time point of the generation of a sub field signal to a time point of the generation of a subsequent sub field signal, the driver can prevent a voltage from being applied to the data electrodes for the time interval.
