Abstract: A drum washing machine includes a tub and a drum rotatably supported in the tub and implements a control method that allows the tub to be easily cleaned. The method of controlling the washing machine includes supplying washing water during a first water supplying step to the interior of the tub while the drum is rotating at a water-supplying RPM; and executing a first wash step following completion of the first water supply step by accelerating the rotation of the drum from the water-supplying RPM to a first-wash RPM so that a circulatory flow is created in which the washing water falls from the top of opposite ends of the tub while circulating along the inner circumferential surface of the tub due to the rotational power of the drum.

Abstract: Provided according to one embodiment of the present invention is a method for controlling a robot cleaner, comprising: a map data collection step of collecting first information collected by photographing a cleaning target area by means of a depth camera and second information collected by photographing the cleaning target area by means of an IR sensor; a depth data filtering step of removing, from the first information, information which is determined to be noise when detecting obstacles; and a data restoration step of, if there is a lost part of the information on the obstacles by comparing the second information with the information that is determined to be noise and removed in the depth data filtering step, restoring the lost part. According to the present embodiment, it is possible to obtain effective obstacle information by removing noise that is not removed despite filtering of the depth camera, so as to detect even thin obstacles.

Abstract: A drum washing machine implements a control method, allowing a tub of the drum washing machine to be easily cleaned. The method includes supplying washing water during a first water supplying step to the interior of the tub while a drum rotatably supported in the tub rotates at a water-supplying RPM. A first wash step is executed following completion of the first water supplying step, and includes accelerating rotation of the drum from the water-supplying RPM to a first-wash RPM to that create a circulatory flow in which the washing water falls from the top of opposite ends of the tub while circulating along the inner circumferential surface of the tub due to the rotational power of the drum. A wash draining step is started during the first wash step, and includes turning on the drain pump and controlling the amount of the washing water in the tub.

Abstract: A mobile robot includes a traveling unit configured to move a main body, a LiDAR sensor configured to acquire geometry information, a camera sensor configured to acquire an image of the outside of the main body, and a controller. The controller generates odometry information based on the geometry information acquired by the LiDAR sensor. The controller determines a current location of the mobile robot by performing feature matching between images acquired by the camera sensor based on the odometry information. The controller combines the information obtained by the camera sensor and the LiDAR sensor to accurately determine the current location of the mobile robot.
