    Abstract: A hermetic compressor includes a casing, a cylinder fixedly coupled to an internal space of the casing and having an inner circumferential surface forming a compression space, a first bearing and a second bearing provided on upper and lower sides of the cylinder and forming a compression space together with the cylinder, a roller provided to be eccentric with respect to an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder and varying a volume of the compression space, while rotating, and a vane inserted into the roller to rotate together with the roller, and drawn out toward the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder when the roller rotates to divide the compression space into a plurality of compression chambers, wherein an inlet port communicating with the compression space is formed in the first bearing or the second bearing, and a refrigerant suction pipe penetrating through the casing is inserted to be coupled to the inlet port.

    Abstract: The present disclosure may provide a compressor in which an outer circumferential side cross-sectional area of a vane slot is formed to be smaller than an inner circumferential side cross-sectional area thereof to decrease an area receiving a force in a roller direction by a vane so as to reduce a contact force between the roller and the vane, and a gas accommodation portion capable of selectively forming a suction pressure and an intermediate pressure is formed between the vane and the vane slot to appropriately control a contact force between the vane and the roller, and a contact surface of the vane facing the roller is broadly formed at a side of a compression chamber to appropriately reduce a contact force between the roller and the vane, and a space portion forming a discharge pressure is formed at least either one side of a side surface of the vane and a cylinder corresponding thereto to decrease a side directional reaction force applied to the vane, thereby reducing a mechanical friction loss between the vane and the cylinder.

    Abstract: A compressor is provided that includes an accumulator formed in an internal space of a shell to reduce a size of the compressor. An accumulator space may be formed using the shell of the compressor, thereby simplifying an assembly process. A stationary shaft having a refrigerant suction passage may be directly connected to the accumulator to prevent leakage of refrigerant. Further, a discharge passage may be formed at or in a rotating body to enhance a cooling effect of a drive motor, and an oil separating member may be installed at or in the discharge passage to prevent oil from being excessively leaked out. A center of gravity of the accumulator may correspond to a center of gravity of the compressor to reduce vibration noise of the compressor caused by the accumulator. An area required for installing a compressor including the accumulator may be minimized to enhance design flexibility of an outdoor device.

    Abstract: A rotary compressor is disclosed. A back pressure pocket closest to a discharge port among back pressure pockets disposed in at least one of main bearing and sub bearing is radially spaced from an inner circumferential surface of a bearing hole, and communicates with an inner space of a casing through a back pressure passage portion formed through at least one of the main and sub bearings. Accordingly, the back pressure pocket closest to the discharge port can strongly support a vane passing near a reference point toward a cylinder while forming discharge pressure or super discharge pressure higher than the discharge pressure. This can suppress chattering of the vane near the reference point to reduce vibration noise while suppressing wear between the vane and the cylinder to enhance compression efficiency. This can also suppress leakage between compression chambers, thereby preventing a delay of initial startup of the compressor.

An oil supply hole that communicates the back pressure chamber with the oil storage space may pass through the main bearing or the sub bearing, or through the roller. Accordingly, as high-pressure oil is supplied directly to a rear end surface of the vane, it is possible to increase efficiency of the compressor by increasing a back pressure on the vane and suppressing a delay in starting the compressor, and it is also possible to reduce collision noise and wear in the vane and the cylinder by suppressing vibration of the vane.
