Abstract:
A method for operating a clothes treating apparatus comprising a hot air supplying unit provided with a heater and a blowing device, and having a drying function of drying clothes by supplying hot air into a drum by use of the hot air supplying unit, includes rotating the drum with the clothes introduced therein, and supplying hot air into the drum by using the heater and the blowing device while the drum is rotated, wherein an air flow rate supplied by the blowing device changes during the hot air supplying step.
Abstract:
A laundry treatment apparatus may facilitate input and removal of laundry items. The laundry treatment apparatus may include a door which may selectively open and close an opening into a receiving space formed in a cabinet in which laundry items may be received for treatment. The door may serve as a laundry guide when positioned at an angle relative to the cabinet so as to guide laundry items into the receiving space, and may serve as a shelf to support laundry items thereon when positioned at another angle relative to the cabinet.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a laundry treating apparatus including a pressure vessel, a separator for separating an interior of the pressure vessel into a first chamber and a second chamber, wherein the first chamber includes a cylindrical drum rotatably disposed therein and accommodating laundry therein, wherein the second chamber stores fluid therein, a plurality of surfaceside through-holes defined to pass through a side surface of the drum to allow the fluid to communicate therethrough, a driver for rotating the drum, and a transferring member for transferring the fluid between the first chamber and the second chamber.
Abstract:
A washing machine includes a first housing configured to include an opening formed therein and a space in which a drum for accommodating laundry is inserted, a barrier configured to seal the opening and coupled to the first housing, and a second housing configured to seal one surface of the barrier and coupled to the first housing. Carbon dioxide is injected into the drum to perform washing. The barrier prevents liquid carbon dioxide injected into a space provided by the first housing and the barrier from flowing into a space provided by the second housing and the barrier.
Abstract:
A method for operating a clothes treating apparatus having a dry function capable of reducing abrasion and crease of a dry object and improving a dry efficiency is provided. The method for operating a clothes treating apparatus having a dry function for drying the clothes by supplying hot air into the interior of a tub includes: supplying hot air into the interior of the tub while forwardly and reversely rotating the tub; detecting the moisture content of the clothes put into the interior of the tub; lowering the temperature of hot air and supplying the same when the detected moisture content is less than a first predetermined level; and supplying the hot air having a lower temperature to complete drying.
Abstract:
A clothes dryer capable of minimizing heat energy loss and increasing energy efficiency includes a cabinet, a drum provided within the cabinet, an exhaust duct through which air discharged from the drum is discharged out of the cabinet, an intake duct through which air is guided to the drum, a heating portion which heats air introduced into the intake duct, a heat exchanger provided within the exhaust duct and having a first heat exchange space in which air discharged from the drum exchanges heat with air introduced from the inside or outside of the cabinet into the exhaust duct, and a preheating member including a second heat exchange space through which air passing through the heat exchanger is guided to the intake duct so that air flowing into the intake duct via the heat exchanger exchanges heat with heat radiated from the intake duct in the second heat exchange space.
Abstract:
A drying machine includes a clothes holding unit (1) for holding clothes, a drying passage (2) including a heater (21) to supply heated air to the clothes holding unit (1), a dehumidification passage (3) for removing moisture from the air exhausted from the clothes holding unit (1) to supply dehumidified air to the drying passage (2), a circulation fan (30) provided in the drying passage (2) or the dehumidification passage (3) to circulate air, a moisture absorption unit (5) for absorbing moisture from the air exhausted from the clothes holding unit (1), a regeneration passage (6) for supplying the heat absorbed by the dehumidification passage (3) to the moisture absorption unit (5) to regenerate the moisture absorption unit (5), and a controller for controlling the circulation fan (30) to circulate the air exhausted from the clothes holding unit (1) for a present time period.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a garment folding machine including a housing, a loading unit into which a garment is loaded, and a folding unit configured to transfer and fold the loaded garment, in which the folding unit includes a first conveyor configured to transfer the garment from an upper side toward a lower side based on a gravitational direction, a second conveyor disposed below the first conveyor and having a rear end changeable in height, and a folding plate disposed rearward of the second conveyor and configured to fold the garment while rotating, thereby folding the garment with a small number of conveyor belts by changing rotation directions of the conveyor belts during the process of transferring the garment.
