The present disclosure discloses a remote maintenance server for remotely maintaining at least one maintenance point provided with an air conditioner having a plurality of indoor units performing air conditioning and at least one outdoor unit connected to the indoor units to drive the indoor units, the remote maintenance server including a display unit configured to display a maintenance screen for maintaining the at least one maintenance point, and a controller configured to control at least one of at least one of an operation rate for the plurality of indoor units, a set temperature, and a compression capacity of a compressor contained in the air conditioner according to a control setting value, and control the display unit to display control information which is information associated with at least one of a control status and a control result in which at least one of the control setting value, the operation rate, the set temperature and the compression capacity is controlled in a first region on the maintenance screen.
Abstract:
An air conditioning system including a management server for analyzing data being received from at least one air conditioner at a predetermined time interval and for diagnosing a state of the air conditioner is provided. The condition of the air conditioner is diagnosed in real time through the analyzing of the data on the air conditioner. Performance deterioration on the air conditioner corresponding to variations over a certain period is diagnosed with data calculated or accumulated on a performance and an efficiency based on the data relating to the air conditioner.
Abstract:
A communication device for pipes of an air conditioner disclosed herein transmits and receives communication signals using induced electromagnetic force, generated by a signal line wound around a core assembly, thereby facilitating for coupling between the core assembly and the signal line. Also, one type of core assembly can be commonly applied to various standards of pipes. Rainwater or foreign materials cannot permeate between the signal line and the core assembly by winding the signal line on the core assembly, despite of external installation, thus preventing breakdown or degraded communication performance of the communication device. Also, with forming a signal line mounting hole through the core assembly, the signal line is fixedly inserted through the signal line mounting hole, thereby preventing in advance a movement of the core assembly even though a refrigerant pipe vibrates.

The air conditioner includes indoor units, at least one outdoor unit connected to the indoor units via a refrigerant pipe to drive the indoor unit using a first signal, a central controller to control operations of the outdoor unit and the indoor units using a second signal, the second signal having a frequency band spaced from that of the first signal, and a communication apparatus installed in the outdoor unit or one of the indoor units connected to the outdoor unit to communicate with the central controller using the second signal, whereby signals with different frequency bands can be used upon communication between the outdoor unit and the indoor unit and communication between the outdoor unit or indoor unit and the central controller, so as to reduce signal interference and enhance efficiency of a system operation, resulting in improving safety of the system.

Disclosed is an air conditioner including a plurality of units having an outdoor unit and an indoor unit. The plurality of units includes a controller configured to control an input/output and control to operate according to setting and a communication unit configured to transmit and receive data in a wireless communication method between the plurality of units. The communication unit includes a plurality of antenna connection units respectively connected to the plurality of antennas, and a transmission/reception unit configured to apply a signal of a certain frequency band to the plurality of antennas through the plurality of antenna connection units, and to process a signal received from the plurality of antennas. The communication unit includes a plurality of antennas, and is configured to transmit and receive data through multiple input and output, so that the plurality of units can directly communicate wirelessly, specify a frequency of a signal used in consideration of obstacles in a building and installation distances, and perform multiple input and output by using the plurality of antennas, thereby achieving stable communication by securing communication coverage, and improving efficiency and stability according to the management and operation of the air conditioner.

The present disclosure provides an air conditioner system comprising: a plurality of air-conditioners; a management server configured to receive air-conditioner data from the plurality of air-conditioners at a predetermined time interval and to analyze the received air-conditioner data to diagnose a state of the air-conditioners, wherein the management server is configured to receive the air-conditioner data from the air-conditioners, to store the received air-conditioner data in a memory, and, thereafter, to analyze the air-conditioner data to perform a first or short term diagnosis of the state of the air-conditioners, wherein the management server is configured to perform a second or long term diagnosis of the state of the air conditioners during a certain period, based on a result of the first diagnosis. In accordance with the present disclosure, the temporary abnormality event is excluded and the failure or abnormality condition is diagnosed for the consecutive abnormality events; further, for abnormality events that occur repeatedly based on a long term for a predetermined period of time, the condition of the air conditioner is diagnosed, thereby improving the diagnostic accuracy of abnormality or failure thereof. According to the present disclosure, the system may immediately respond to the failure that occurred; by diagnosing abnormality of sensors and parts in air conditioner and predicting failure thereof, the system may prevent damage to the air conditioner; and the air conditioner may be checked and repaired to maintain constant performance and, thus, the efficiency of the air conditioner may be improved.
