Abstract:
A method for controlling a dishwasher includes: supplying washing water to a sump; rotating an impeller disposed in a washing pump by a washing motor so that the washing water flows into the washing pump from the sump;operating a heater disposed in the washing pump so as to heat the washing water existing in the washing pump and generate steam to supply to a steam nozzle; and supplying the washing water or steam in the washing pump to the steam nozzle by rotating the impeller at a second set rotational speed lower than a first set rotational speed by the washing motor. The method further includes closing a selector valve, configured to open and close a path between the washing pump and the steam nozzle, when the impeller rotates at the first set rotational speed or higher.
Abstract:
A dishwasher is provided that may include a tub configured to define a washing space in which a washing object is washed, the tub having an open side, a first accommodating rack configured to accommodate the washing object inside of the tub, the first accommodating rack being unloadable from the tub, and a door configured to selectively open and close the open side of the tub, the door supporting the first accommodating rack when the first accommodating rack is unloaded. The tub may include a first protrusion protruding from an inner sidewall of the tub toward the washing space so as to support the first accommodating rack and guide movement of the first accommodating rack, and a second protrusion provided above the first protrusion and protruding from the inner sidewall of the tub toward the washing space so as to prevent the first accommodating rack from being lifted upward when the first accommodating rack is unloaded.
Abstract:
A dishwasher is disclosed. The dishwasher includes a tub, a main arm and an auxiliary arm for spraying water to an object to be washed, a fixed gear unit for rotatably supporting the main arm, a rotating gear unit configured to be rotated in engagement with the fixed gear part, a link unit for allowing the auxiliary aim to perform a reciprocating rolling movement, and an auxiliary arm connection unit. The auxiliary arm connection unit includes an extension pipe, a shaft extending from the extension pipe in order to support an interior of the auxiliary arm, and a sealing member protruding from an outer circumferential surface of the extension pipe. The sealing member includes a support member provided on at least one of an upper portion of the sealing member and a lower portion of the sealing member in order to support the interior of the auxiliary arm.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a dishwasher that sprays wash water to wash dishes or cookware and a method of controlling the same. The method of controlling the dishwasher includes supplying wash water from an external water source to a sump and intermittently driving a washing pump to change the level of water around a filter, thereby removing filth from the filter.
Abstract:
