Abstract: A display panel assembly and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to simplify the manufacturing process of the display panel assembly, by forming a getter and a sealing member in one body so as to skip a process for forming the getter. A display substrate assembly comprises a first substrate(10) including an effective display region(EDR) for displaying an image and a non-effective display region(NEDR) disposed around the effective display region, a second substrate(20) facing the first substrate, and a sealing member(30) disposed along the non-effective display region between the first substrate and the second substrate. The sealing member includes a sealing resin portion for forming a sealed space between the first substrate and the second substrate, a getter contained in the sealing resin portion and preventing the inlet and outlet of pollutants, and a dispersing agent for uniformly dispersing the getter to the inside of the sealing resin portion.
