Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for sensing a glass in a cassette are provided to load the glass by changing information about a transferring robot by measuring the distortion of the glass through a mapping unit which checks the presence of the glass, thereby reducing a tact time by omitting the separate align process of the transferring robot. A glass mapping apparatus includes a cassette, a loader, and a mapping unit(400). The cassette loads plural glasses at regular intervals. The loader sets the cassette. The mapping unit is formed in at least one side of the loader and measures the presence and distortion of the glasses within the cassette and transfers its measured result to a transferring robot.
