Abstract: An LCD module is provided to make a lower substrate overlap a cover bottom and fix one end of at least one optical sheet between the lower substrate and the cover bottom so as to fix one set of ends of optical sheets without a gap therebetween and increase expandable areas of the optical sheets thermally. A liquid crystal panel(102) includes an upper substrate(104), a lower substrate(106), and liquid crystals injected between the upper substrate and the lower substrate. A cover bottom(118) overlaps the lower substrate of the liquid crystal panel. A backlight unit includes a lamp(120), a light guide plate(124) receiving light from the lamp through a side surface, a lamp housing(116) reflecting light from the lamp toward the light guide plate, a reflective plate placed adjacent to a back surface of the light guide plate, and at least one optical sheet(131) fixed between the lower substrate of the liquid crystal panel and the cover bottom.
