Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a method for simultaneously forming spacers and a black matrix on an upper substrate by simultaneously carrying on frontside and rearside exposure steps and to propose a color filter substrate manufactured by the method. SOLUTION: The invention is related to a liquid crystal display and to a method for manufacturing the color filter substrate of a liquid crystal panel. Spacers 118 and a black matrix 116 made of the identical substance are simultaneously formed on a color filter substrate 99 by simultaneously carrying on the frontside and rearside exposure steps.
