Abstract: The present invention disclosed a bacteria-coding identification method, and identification papers which detect the biochemical properties using this method, and apparatus useful for identifying the genus and species of bacteria using the coding identification method and biochemical properties-identifying papers. The coding test items and its combination in the method can identify efficiently bacteria.The identification papers can detect 9-15 kinds of biochemical properties of bacteria at one time, each kind to be detected has very high identification value. The apparatus consists of image acquisition unit, input unit, processing unit, store unit, output unit, and software system. The image acquisition unit contains CCD pickup camera and image acquisition circuit, and it operates directly, quickly, sensitively, accurately and has simple structure. The store unit uses the non-volatile semi-conductor memory to store software and data, it works quickly, stores safely data, the output unit can show directly the illustrative image of a detected result.
