    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining an accurate global positioning satellite(GPS) by calibrating a frame boundary, while GPS timing is set as a reference. SOLUTION: Calibration of time is possible, by determining a time difference Δt between the GPS reference time (or a pulse) and an n-th frame boundary. The time difference Δt and a frame boundary identifier are supplied to all devices or a part of devices which are equipped with GPS receivers. As a result, the device equipped with the GPS itself be made to be synchronized with the GPS timing. When the device is synchronized with the GPS timing, it can retrieve a GPS signal, by using information which a geographical position server, such as a WAG server, supplies.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining an accurate satellite navigation system (GPS) by particularly calibrating a frame boundary to the GPS timing in the geographical location in a radiocommunication system. SOLUTION: This method is typically composed of a stage for deciding calibration time by using a pseudo-range and a local time reference related to at least four detected artificial satellite signals and a stage for transmitting the calibration time, and this local time reference has the already known relationship with artificial satellite time. Time calibration is attained by deciding a time difference Δt between reference GPS time (or a pulse) and an (n)-th frame boundary.
