Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for interconnecting a phone terminal device on circuit basis and a voice terminal on packet basis. SOLUTION: The device of this invention consists of a means (A) that stores data denoting correspondence between an IP address assigned to a terminal device (T2) of a called party on packet basis and a telephone number assigned to a terminal device (TS2) of the called party on circuit basis to a memory, a means (B) that extracts the data denoting the IP address assigned to the terminal device (TS2) of the called party on circuit basis in response to reception by a caller of the data denoting a telephone number of the called party corresponding to the terminal device (T2) of the called party on packet basis and a means (C) that sets up a communication connection between a terminal device (TS1) of the caller on circuit basis and the terminal device (T2) of the called party on packet basis.
