Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communications device including a small-sized antenna cluster for simultaneously transmitting and/or receiving signals. SOLUTION: The wireless communications device 700 comprises at least a signal processing device 702 coupled to a cluster (704) of multiple port antennas (antennas provided with many ports). The cluster of antennas operates within a frequency band having a maximum frequency (f), and at least a pair of the antenna ports 706, 708, 710, 712 is placed in a volume of space whose longest linear dimension is λ/3 or less where λ is equal to c/f (c is the velocity of light in vacuum). During operation of the antenna cluster 704, the radiation patterns from different antennas have main lobes that point in different directions and have correlations of 0.7 or less with respect to each other.
