Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric cable having improved ignition delay and reduced crosstalks. SOLUTION: This electric cable comprises a plurality of pairs of conductive elements 24 having insulated copper wires stranded, ignition delayed fiber layers 54 spirally formed or wound around the conductor pairs or groups of the conductor pairs and a dielectric coated film 32 formed around the conductor pairs and the fiber layers. The fiber layer is produced by glass fiber, polyimide, polyaramid fiber or other proper ignition delaying material and/or a combination of these materials.
