Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a special effect video determination method and apparatus, an electronic device and a storage medium. The method comprises: when it is detected that a target special effect template is triggered, calling a target configuration file corresponding to the target special effect template; by analyzing and processing the target configuration file, determining a target editing item and editing parameters of the target editing item, and displaying the target editing item; when a special effect material to be edited that corresponds to the corresponding target editing item is received, displaying an editing parameter corresponding to the target editing item, so as to determine, on the basis of an adjustment operation on the editing parameter, a target special effect material corresponding to the special effect material to be edited; and on the basis of the target special effect material and a corresponding video stream to be processed, obtaining a target special effect video using the video stream to be processed as background information.
