Abstract: A cutting tool includes a rotary blade driven by a motor, a fixed blade disposed opposing the rotary blade, a housing holding the motor, and a battery mount part on a rear portion of the housing. The battery mount part has a guide groove that slidably receives a rail of a power tool battery pack. A blade cover is disposed partially around the rotary blade, and a portion or all of the blade cover has a shape in which the farther forward it goes the more it goes toward the side that has the fixed blade, viewed from the rotary blade. A base holds the fixed blade, and a portion or all of the base has a shape in which the farther forward it goes the more it goes toward the side that has the fixed blade, viewed from the rotary blade.

Abstract: An autofeed attachment (4) for a screw-driving apparatus (2) includes a base casing (30), a feeder casing (32) slidably mounted on the base casing (30) and a wheel (72) rotatably mounted within the feeder casing (32). When rotated in a forward direction, the wheel (72) advances a screw strip (50), which has a plurality of screws (52) coupled by a connecting strip. A wheel forward-direction rotating mechanism (60, 64, 66, 68) rotates the wheel (72) in the forward direction and restricts rotation of the wheel (72) in a reverse direction opposite the forward direction. A wheel-release mechanism (70, 107, 117) releases the restriction placed on rotation of the wheel (72) in the reverse direction. The wheel forward-direction rotating mechanism and the wheel-release mechanism are disposed, at least partially, inside of the wheel (72) and/or the rotational axis of the wheel (72) intersects a release button (107) of the wheel-release mechanism.

Abstract: An auxiliary handle (10) comprises a first clamp member (21), a second clamp member (31), an operation rod (40) and a grip (50). By rotation of the operation rod (40), the first clamp member (21) is moved toward a distal end of the operation rod (40), and at the same time, the second clamp member (31) is moved toward a base end of the operation rod (40). Abstract: To reduce size increase, an impact tool includes a motor, a spindle located frontward from the motor and rotatable by the motor, a hammer supported by the spindle, an anvil strikable by the hammer in a rotation direction and having an insertion hole extending rearward from a front end of the anvil, a locking member supported by the anvil and movable to a locking position for locking a tip tool placed in the insertion hole and to an unlocking position for unlocking the tip tool, and a bit sleeve surrounding the anvil. The bit sleeve is movable to a movement-restricting position for restricting radially outward movement of the locking member and to a movement-permitting position for permitting radially outward movement of the locking member.
