Abstract: In the setting operation conducted by the handle 90 which is an operating section, an upper portion of the portion 26a' to be pushed of the card 26 is pushed by the end portion of the cam 90b, and the card 26 is moved. In accordance with the movement of the card 26, the suction cup block 23 is elastically deformed, and the suction cup 23b is sucked and held by the body 24 to be sucked. The body 24 to be sucked is composed of a porous body, and air flows from the ventilation hale 29 into a space formed between the suction cup 23b and the body 24 to be sucked, via the body 24 to be sucked. The card 26 is biased ahead by the return spring 27. When the releasing operation is conducted by the handle 90, the cam 90b is rotated, and the end portion of the cam 90b is separated from the end of the portion 26a' to be pushed. After that, when the intensity of the sucking force of the suction cup 23b to the body 24 to be sucked is decreased lower than that of the spring force of the return spring 27, the card 26 is moved ahead, so that the card member 26c pushes up the movable contactor 70.

Abstract: The relay uses a pair of contacts of a material with a high resistance to contact welding and a pair of contacts with a reduced transfer resistance, connected in parallel with one another. Each of their movable contacts is pivoted in dependence on the movement of the relay armature relative to a magnetic pole system, such that the contacts with the higher welding resistance are closed before those with the lower transfer resistance. The two pairs of contacts face one another, with a setting element of the relay electromagnet located between them. This setting element pref. has a pair of arms providing the contact pivot movement in response to the movement of the armature. ADVANTAGE - Prevents welding of contacts with reduced transfer resistance due to switching current.
