Abstract: An image forming apparatus is provided including a power supply that supplies an electric power equal to or less than a predetermined amount of the electric power, a first function that is a process before a printed paper is obtained and uses a first electric power, a second function that is a process performed after the printed paper is obtained and uses a second electric power, and a controller. When the first function and the second function are instructed to be processed in parallel, the controller compares a sum of the first electric power and the second electric power with the predetermined amount of the electric power. When the sum of the first electric power and the second electric power exceeds the predetermined amount of the electric power, the controller delays one of the first function and the second function.
