    Abstract: SA four way slide valve comprises a plunger (122, 51) connected to a slider (113, 45) and a solenoid coil (12, 55) for driving the plunger thereby to switch the four way valve between room-heating and room-cooling, and further, by inserting a demagnetizable permanent magnet (54) in series to magnetic circuit of the plunger (51) and a stator core (52) and magnetizing and demagnetizing the permanent magnet for switching operation of the refrigerant circuit, the hitherto necessitated retention current for the plunger is eliminated, thereby eliminating undesirable noises hitherto generated by a pilot valve used for switching the slide valve, and further saving the power consumption.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent liquid compression by an arrangement wherein the superconductor element in a sliding valve exhibits diamagnetism when the temperature of refrigerant drops below a specified level on the low pressure side to float the sliding valve relative to a valve seat made of a magnet thus bypassing refrigerant on the high pressure side to the low pressure side and ensuring superheat. CONSTITUTION: A slide valve 25 slides on a valve seat 30 on the inner surface of a valve body, i.e., a cylinder 17, to switch the refrigerant path. A superconductor element 32 is bonded to the surface at the sliding valve facing the valve seat while being exposed to the refrigerant on the low pressure side and a magnet is employed partially or entirely for the valve seat 30. When the temperature of refrigerant on the low pressure side drops below a specified level due to deficiency of evaporation capacity of an outdoor heat exchanger at the time of low outer air temperature in heating cycle, temperature of the element 32 drops to exhibit diamagnetism at a critical temperature. The sliding valve is floated by magnetic force of the valve seat to bypass refrigerant on the high pressure side to the low pressure side and increase enthalpy of sucked refrigerant to ensure superheat thus preventing liquid compression of a compressor 101.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce pressure loss and to improve system efficiency by arranging a delivery port which is long in the axial direction of a cylinder at a position close to a valve seat having a suction port. CONSTITUTION:A four-way valve for refrigeration cycle is provided in parallel with a first valve seat 16c having a suction port 16e in the inner face of a cylinder 16 constituting a valve body and a second valve seat 16d having two lead-in ports 16f, 16g. An oval delivery port 16a which is long in axial direction of the cylinder is arranged on the side face between both valve seats 16c, 16d closely to the first valve seat 16. When a holder 26 containing sliders 22, 23 for sealing the valve seat at the opposite ends and constituting a tunnel flow path is moved through a solenoid in the axial direction of the cylinder, the lead-in port is communicated selectively with the suction port or the delivery port thus switching a refrigerant path.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an insert to enhance its security reliability further a slide valve to form its insert part with a large closely-attached along-surface length, by forming a flange in a slide seat ring. CONSTITUTION:Slide seat rings 26, 27, which are adapted to valve seats 19, 20 being formed by fluorine contained resin, are provided. These slide seat rings 26, 27 provide flange parts 26a, 27a, and the flange parts 26a, 27a parallelly extend with valve seat surfaces 19a, 20a. While providing a slider 28 to be arranged between the valve seats 19, 20 and moved in the axial direction of a cylinder 16, a valve selects a communication port for an outflow port 19b to communicate. By this constitution, the valve, which enables an insert to enhance its security reliability further an insert part of the slide valve to increase its closely-attached along-surface length, can effectively perform the prevention of leakage.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of a four-way valve, and make the assembling work easy, by using a cap-shaped slide valve. CONSTITUTION:When an electromagnetic coil 45 is not electrified, a plunger 47 is energized leftward by the action of a return spring 46, and the top of a ring part 47a is stopped as contacting with a cover 35. A lead-out port 36b and the first through hole 36c are communicated with each other, using a slide seat ring 41 as a seal face, and using the inside recessed part 40d of a slide valve 40 as a flow route, and a lead-in port 34a and the second through hole 36d are also communicated with each other, through the inside of a cylinder 33. When the electromagnetic coil 45 is electrified, the plunger 47 is attracted, the lead-out port 36b and the second through hole 36d are communicated with each other, through the flow route of the inside recessed part 40d of the slide valve 40, and the lead-in port 34a and the first through hole 36c are also communicated with each other, through the inside of the cylinder 33.
