Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recycle and reuse a motor-driven element by reducing deterioration of an organic material such as insulating paper and a winding used in the motor-driven element, even if a hermetic compressor is structured so that a compression element and the motor-driven element are placed in an enclosure and the inside of its enclosure is exposed to coolant and oil under a high temperature and a high pressure. SOLUTION: A compression element 6 is placed in an enclosure 1, a motor- driven element 2 is completely separated from the enclosure 1 and the power of the motor-driven element 2 is transmitted to the compression element 6 with the intervention of a dome-shaped cap 15 of a non-magnetic material forming the enclosure 1 by using the first magnet 14 of a power transmitting coupling and the second magnet 16 of the power transmitting coupling. The motor-driven element 2 is not exposed to coolant and oil under a high temperature and a high pressure by this structure. Thereby, deterioration of an organic material such as insulating paper and a winding used in the motor-driven element 2 is substantially reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an automatically opening and closing valve (not electrically operated), which acts when it senses overheating of the compressor resulting from hard use and effects powerful cooling of the compressor by injection, in order to improve the reliability of the compressor and prolong the service life thereof. CONSTITUTION:The temperature of a sealed refrigerating compressor 21 during operation is sensed and, only when this temperature is high, a temperature- activated automatic opening-closing valve 27 provided in a bypass 25 which is connected from a condenser 2 to the high-temperature part in the cylinder is opened so as to inject into the high-temperature part liquid refrigerant being the condensate in a condenser 2. When the temperature of the compressor 21 is low, the temperature-activated automatic opening-closing valve 27 is closed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable the mounting work of a suction pipe to be performed easily by inserting a suction pipe into a suction pipe mounting hole in a side plate before assembling a compression mechanism part, and then jointing the cap part of a closed case and the body part of the closed case, in which a suction pipe is pierced. CONSTITUTION:In this compressor, first of all, a suction pipe 17 is inserted into a suction pipe mounting hole 16 in a side plate 9 by using a press-fit seat 19 for the suction pipe 17, in which a filter 23 is stored. Secondly, a compression mechanism part 4 is assembled before it is inserted together with a motor 3 into the body part 2a of a closed case 2 so as to lock up. And then, the entrance part 21 of the suction pipe 17 is inserted into a through hole 25 in the cap part 2b of the closed case 2, and the cap part 2b is joined to the body part 2a so that the compressor is assembled. Since this assembling method enables the suction pipe 17 to be mounted on the side plate 9 in advance before the body part 2a and the cap part 2b of the closed case 2 are jointed, the mounting work of the suction pipe 17 can be performed easily.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to feed oil in a stable manner, by fitting in an oil pipe a coil spring which revolves together with a crank shaft, and feeding oil by use of the lead of the coil spring. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 3b is set into rotation by feeding current to an electric motor section 3, a coolant gas drawn into a compression chamber 11 from a suction pipe 18 is compressed through a rotation of a rotary piston 8. On the other hand, a rotation of the crank shaft 6 also causes turning of a coil spring 15 in an oil pipe 13b. By the turning of coil spring 15, oil 14 is carried upward along the coil spring 15 and the inner wall surface of the oil pipe 13b by the function of the lead of the coil spring 15, and finally, it reaches a hydraulic chamber. Thus, it is enabled to feed oil in a stable manner.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent troubles caused by inaccurate assembly in a titled compressor with horizontal facing cylinders and others for a refrigerator and the like by connecting a piston with a guide piece by means of a closely-coiled spring for reducing the required accuracy in the parallelism of the cylinders and others. CONSTITUTION:A guide piece 17 is connected to a crank pin 15 of a rotation shaft 8 via a slider 16, and a piston 19 is connected with the guide piece 17 by means of a closely-coiled spring 18. The guide piece 17 and the piston 19 are consequently made flexible by the closely-coiled spring 18 in three-dimentions. In this construction, required accuracies in perpendicularitiles of the guide piece 17 and the crank pin 15 to the piston 19, the parallelism of two cylinders 10 and others can be reduced for preventing troubles and the increase of abrasion caused by the inaccurate assembly of these cylinders. The closely-coiled spring 18 ensures the work of compression.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To facilitate the assembling and to reduce the cost by pressure inserting a suction tube integrally formed with a pressure inserting section, pressure inserting seat and a filter chamber in the axial direction of an enclosed casing into the suction tube fixing hole of a side plate defining the compression chamber. CONSTITUTION:A suction tube 17 and a side plate 9 are pre-assembled as shown on the drawing utilizing a pressure insertion seat 19 of a suction tube 17 containing a filter 23, then the compressor frame section 4 is assembled and insertion fixed together with a motor section 3 to the drum section 2a of the enclosed casing 2 while a cover section 2b is set to the drum section 2a such that the inlet section 21 of the suction tube 2b will penetrate through a through-hole 25 then the joint is welded. Since the suction tube 17 is pre-fixed to the frame section 4 while the direction of the suction tube 17 is coincided with the fixing direction of the cover section 2b, the assembling is facilitated while the pressure work can be checked at the pre-assembling stage of the suction tube 17 and the side plate 9 resulting in the improvement of the productionability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to feed oil at a constant rate, by providing inside an oil pipe with a coil spring made of a wire having a non-circular cross section which is arranged to turn together with a crank shaft, and feeding oil along a spiral passage. CONSTITUTION:When a rotor 3b is set into rotation by feeding current to an electric motor section 3, a crank shaft 6 begins to turn, so that a coolant gas drawn into a compression chamber 11 from a suction pipe 18 is compressed through rotation of a rotary piston 8. Along with rotation of the crank shaft 6, a space defined between the outer surface of a coil spring 15 made of a wire having a non-circular cross section and the inner wall surface of an oil pipe 13b is shifted upward successively along the lead of the coil spring 15 in a spiral manner, as shown by a, a', a'' in the drawing, and finally, it reaches a hydraulic chamber 16. Therefore, it is enabled to feed oil in a stable manner.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable to secure the oil quantity necessary for lubrication by a method wherein the oil is transferred utilizing the lead of a coil spring provided within an oil pipe. CONSTITUTION:When an electric motor part 3 is energized, a crankshaft 6 rotates to compress the refrigerant sucked in. On the other hand the rotation of the crankshaft 6 causes the rotation of the coil spring 15 within the oil pipe 13b. Owing to the rotation of the spring 15, the oil 14 is raised by the lead of the spring 15 along the spring 15 and the inner wall of the oil pipe 13b to an oil pressure chamber 16. After that, the oil 14 lubricates a bearing 9, a rotary piston 8 and a main bearing 5a through oil grooves 6c, 6d and 6e. In the manner as described above, the oil quantity necessary for lubrication of the bearings 9 and 5a and the piston 8 are secured.
