    Abstract: A heat pump using a zeotropic refrigerant includes a main circuit for a refrigeration cycle, which is connected with a closed circuit consisting of a rectification distillation apparatus, a cooling apparatus and a reservoir connected through switch valves. The switch valves are controlled according to the detected magnitude of the load, and the refrigerant composition for the main circuit is appropriately adjusted according to the state of the load, thus controlling the performance of the heat pump.

    Abstract: The present invention is directed to air conditioning equipment provided with an oil level equalizing system, which includes a plurality of low-pressure shell-type compressors communicating with a suction line through a plurality of branch portions, a plurality of connecting lines each communicating with a correspondin g compressor shell at a location adjacent to a normal oil level in the shell, and an oil level equalizing line communicating with the plurality of connecting lines. The oil level equalizing system also includes a communication line, through which the su ction line communicates with the oil level equalizing line at a location upstream of t he plurality of branch portions with respect to a direction of flow of a refrigeran t, for increasing the pressure within the oil level equalizing line to a value higher t han that within the shell of each compressor. A gas/liquid separator for separating a gas refrigerant and a liquid refrigerant or an oil/gas separator for separating oil from the gas refrigerant may be provided in the suction line upstream of the plurality of branch portions. Alternatively, an accumulator may be provided.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To significantly reduce the quantity of a combustible refrigerant packed in a heat transfer tube. SOLUTION: The heat transfer tube 102 constituting a condenser 203 is composed of one seamless meandering tube into which a bar-like inserted member 103 having a fixed length is inserted and has supporting members 104 which support the inserted member 103 by coming into contact with the internal surface of the tube 102 so as to position the member 103 at almost the cross-sectional center of the tube 102. Therefore, the quantity of the refrigerant packed in the tube 102 can be reduced by the volume of the inserted member 103 and the leakage of the refrigerant from the tube 102 due to defective welding can be reduced and the heat transfer performance of the tube 102 can be improved.

SOLUTION: A storage unit 39 is disposed at a lower position than a bottom of a fractionating tower 38. The bottom of the tower 38 is connected to an upper part of the unit 39 via an opening/closing valve 40. A top of the tower 38 and the upper part of the unit 39 are connected via a check valve 41 in which a refrigerant can flow from the unit 39 toward the top of the tower 38 and a non-azeotropic refrigerant is sealed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control capability responsive to a load by obtaining a sufficient composition separating width even under any operating condition of cooling and heating with a simple constitution and control, and enlarging the control width by regulating a refrigerant amount of a main circuit and the composition control. SOLUTION: A non-azeotrope refrigerant is sealed in the heat pump device. A check valve 16 and an opening/closing valve 17 are connected in series from midway of piping of an outdoor heat exchanger 13 and connected to a tower bottom of a rectifying separator 20. A sub-throttle unit 18 and a check valve 19 are connected in series from piping between a main throttle unit 14 and an indoor heat exchanger 15, and connected to the bottom of the separator 20. Further, a sub-circuit of the separator 20, a cooler 21 and a reservoir 22 is constituted. The pump device comprises a temperature sensor 25 for sensing an air temperature in a room, a memory 26 for storing a set air temperature value, and an arithmetic and control unit 21 for deciding a large or small difference between the air temperature and the set temperature to operate to open or close the valve 17.

SOLUTION: Delivery piping of a compressor 11 is coupled through a sub- throttle 20 and a first on/off valve 21 with the column bottom section of a rectifier/separator 17 having column top section coupled with a cooler and a storage unit annularly. The column bottom section of the rectifier/separator 17 is coupled through a sub-throttle 22 with the cooler 18 coupled with the suction piping of the compressor. Further, the piping coupling an outdoor main throttle 20 and an indoor main restrictor 22 is coupled through an on/off valve 23 with the bottom section of the storage unit 19 and non-azeotropic mixed refrigerant is encapsulated.

When the total load is located between the set value of the high load side and the set value of a low load side, the constant rate compressor 20 with small capacity and the constant rate compressor 21 with large capacity are alternately started and stopped. Further, a controller 37 for starting/stopping compressor is provided, and when the total load is smaller than the set value of the low load side, the constant rate compressor 20 with small capacity is stated or stopped and the constant rate compressor 21 with large capacity is stopped.

A part lower than the partition plate 11 is defined as the oil retaining part, wherein there are provided a refrigerant inlet pipe 15 having an opening at the upper part in the inner chamber 12 in a tangential line direction of the partition plate 11, a refrigerant outlet pipe 16 having an opening at the upper part in the outer chamber 13 outside the main body 10 of the container and a separating material 18 in a horizontal direction at an entire surface of the outer chamber 13 in the vicinity of the lower part of the refrigerant outlet pipe 16.

SOLUTION: Piping extending between a first sub-throttling device 21 and a bottom of a rectification separator 17 and piping extending between an outdoor main throttling device 14 and an indoor main throttling device 15 are indirectly heat exchanged, and a refrigerant flowing from the bottom of the rectification separator 17 through a second sub-throttling device 22 to suction piping of a compressor 11 and a refrigerant existent at the top of the rectification separator 17 are indirectly heat exchanged. As a cooling source on the side of the top of a tower latent heat of a liquid refrigerant effluent from the bottom of the tower is utilized.
