    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to check the characteristic of a packed body in a short time, by placing the packed body in a chamber, reducing the pressure in the chamber, and detecting the fact that the pressure in the chamber becomes lower than the internal pressure reduction degree of the packed body by a detector. CONSTITUTION:A pressure reduction checking device of a packed body comprises the following parts: a chamber 9; a pressure reducer 10; a detector 11 with a buzzer, which detects the displacement of the packed body that is arranged in the chamber 9; and a display part 12, which displays the pressure reduction degree in the chamber. The packed body 1 is placed in the chamber 9, and the pressure in the chamber 9 is reduced by the pressure reducer 10. Since the internal pressure reduction degree in the packed body 1 is maintained, the packed body 1 swells largely at an instant the pressure in the chamber 9 becomes lower than said internal pressure reduction degree. When said displacement exceeds 2-4mm., the buzzer is sounded. The pressure reduction degree at at this time is read on the display part 12. Thus the check of the packed body can be performed in a short time.
