Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive vacuum heat insulating material that suppresses time and labor for drying a core material by molding an inorganic fiber material without using a binder to form the core material, minimizes the use of moisture adsorbing material, and has less environmental load comprehensively. SOLUTION: By evaluating the core material using an indication such as a dewatering testing, the core material having less moisture absorbing amount or high speed drying can be used, the load of a drying process can be reduced, and an amount of the used moisture adsorbent can be also reduced. The inorganic fibers are bound and molded using water, thereby manufacturing the environment-friendly and clean vacuum heat insulating material having high heat insulating performance. Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight by providing protrusions for introducing the air flow in the rotational direction of a turbo fan to the direction of the rotary shaft thereof of the lower surface of a top plate thereby enhancing the strength of the top plate and making thin the top plate. SOLUTION: Triangular prism protrusions 10 for partially restricting the gap to a turbo fan 4 are provided on the lower surface at the planar part of a top plate 1. The protrusion 10 has a surface subjected to the air flow in the rotational direction of the turbo fan 4 inclining to approach the rotary shaft of the turbo fan 4 toward the rotational direction thereof. An air flow is generated in the space between the top plate 1 and the turbo fan 4 through rotation thereof. The air flow is introduced to flow along the longitudinal wall face on the oblique side of the triangular protrusion 10. The introduced air flow strikes a fan motor 3 which is thereby cooled. Since the top plate 1 can be set horizontally, the air-conditioner body can be made thin.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible for air conditioned room temp. to reach a specified temperature while balancing the difference of temperature between zones in the room by detecting the difference between an actual temperature and specified temperature in each zone which corresponds to each blow-out opening in the room and comparing the differences in the zones and moving movable vanes by a specified movement. CONSTITUTION:The air in a room 21 which is to be air-conditioned is sucked into a cabinet 10 and it exchanges heat by a heat-exchanger 11 and passes through air blowing chambers 17a and 17b and air blowers 13a and 13b and ducts 20a and 20b and is discharged from discharge openings 22a and 22b into the room 21. At this time from temperature setting devices 23a and 23b for the inside of the room and temperature sensors 24a and 24b which correspond to zones A and B temperature differences are detected by temperature difference sensors 25a and 25b and they are compared by a temperature difference comparator 26, and a control device 27 rotates movable vanes 16 by a specified movement according to the level of the temperature difference by means of movable vane drive means 18. With this arrangement the air blasts that are sucked respectively by the air blowing chambers 17a and 17b change the rate of area through which the air through the heat exchanger 11 passes and discharged into the room 21 to be air-conditioned as blasts of the same volume but of different temperatures.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the workability of the air conditioner by holding a hanging metal fitting provided rotatably on a wall surface in a horizontal state, suspending an indoor unit, and perpendicularly rotating to fix the hanging metal fitting, in the device for installing the wall surface fitted type air conditioner. CONSTITUTION:An L-shaped fixing plate 3 is fixed to a wall surface A, and a hanging metal fitting 1 is rotated horizontally. Thus, the metal fitting 1 is engaged with a stopper part and supported horizontally. Then, a bolt 7 fitted to the side surface of an indoor unit 5 is suspended on a U-shaped hanging part 2 of the hanging metal fitting 1 to suspend the indoor unit 5. Then, the hanging metal fitting 1 is rotated in the direction of the wall surface A to erect the hanging metal fitting 1 upright. Thereafter, the bolt 7 and screws 9 and 10 are clamped to allow the indoor unit 5 to hermetically adhere to a wall surface B. By this construction, the workability is improved and the air conditioner can be allowed to hermetically adhere to the wall surface.

SOLUTION: A slide guide 30 which is slidably moved in the vertical direction between the position of storage of a suction grill 10 and at least the position lower than the lowest surface of a decorative panel 7 along a wire 14, and regulated in movement in the horizontal direction, is provided, and when the suction grill 10 is elevated, its shaking is controlled by the side guide 30 projected downwardly of the decorative panel 7, and then, and then, elevated straight so as to be completely stored without being hooked by a lower side of the decorative panel 7, and the suction grill 10 is corrected to be horizontal and smoothly stored in the decorative panel 7.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To effect a fine control of an air conditioner by a method wherein the air conditioner is provided therein with a suction side heat exchanger and a diffusion side heat exchanger in the windward and leeward directions of an air blower, respectively, both the heat exchangers are used for the normal operation and the suction side heat exchanger alone is used for a capacity reduced operation. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner 1 is provided with a suction side heat exchanger 5A near a suction opening 2 and a diffusion side heat exchanger 5B in the leeward direction of an air blower 4. To effect normal cooling operation, solenoids 14 and 16 are opened and solenoids 15 and 17 are closed, heat exchangers 5A and 5B are connected in parallel and expansion valves 10A and 10B are given the degree of opening commensurate with their control function. To effect a capacity reduced cooling operation, the solenoid 14 is opened, the solenoids 15-17 and an expansion valve 10b for the diffusion side heat exchanger are closed, the valve 10A for the suction side heat exchanger is given the degree of opening commensurate with its control function and a refrigerant is sent to only the suction side heat exchanger 5A. Concerning the heating operation, the solenoids 14-17 are switched in the substantially same way as in the case of the cooling operation between the normal and the capacity reduced heating operation.

SOLUTION: A belt 21 on a loop is retained horizontally by four pieces of pulleys 22a, 22b and wires 14, hanging a suction grille 10, are attached to the belt 21 while the belt 21 is driven by a motor 23 through one piece of pulley 22a to pull the wires 14 up in parallel to the belt 21 and elevate the suction grille 10 whereby the reel-out amount of a plurality of wires 14 is unified and an electric wiring can be simplified by installing small number of pieces of motors.
