Abstract: Se describen un sistema y método para activar un dispositivo eléctrico desde un modo de energía en espera a un modo de energía completa. El sistema puede incluir uno o más micrófonos para verificar señales de audio en la cercanía del dispositivo eléctrico, y una unidad de activación de energía en espera que incluye un microprocesador de baja energía y una memoria no volátil. El audio capturado por el uno o más micrófonos se digitaliza y compara por el microprocesador contra un patrón(es) de activación predefinido almacenado en la memoria no volátil. Si se detecta una igualación de patrón entre el patrón de audio digital y un patrón de activación predefinido, se activa el dispositivo eléctrico.

The system may include one or more microphones for monitoring audio signals in the vicinity of the electric device and a standby power activation unit including a low power microprocessor and a non volatile memory. Audio captured by the one or more microphones is digitized and compared by the microprocessor against predefined activation pattern(s) stored in the non volatile memory. If a pattern match is detected between the digital audio pattern and a predefined activation pattern the electric device is activated.
