Abstract: DEVICE FOR DETECTING DEOXYRIBONUCLEASE PRODUCTION A test device, process for making the device and method of determining the production of deoxyribonuclease in a microbiological sample are disclosed. More particularly, a test device is provided for determination of deoxyribonuclease production in a microbiological sample, which device comprises a carrier matrix and, incorporated therewith, deoxyribonucleic acid, methyl green and a water-soluble polymer selected from polyvinyl alcohol and carboxymethylcellulose.
