The system and method of the present invention manage users knowledge activities on Internet based on Internet activities in real time, across open and close sites; provides a framework to enhance knowledge creation and sharing; profiling user's knowledge activities across open and close sites; and automatic tracking and monitoring knowledge transformation. The system on intelligent knowledge management based on user internet activities comprising at least one profile management module (208) which allows user to register with the system and stores Internet activities on various sources; at least one Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) to knowledge classifier module (210) which extracts meaning from given URI; at least one knowledge management and monitoring module (212) which integrates with other components to perform automatic knowledge management and monitoring based on user Internet activities; at least one semantic grouping module (214) which group users semantically based on meaning(s) identified from Internet activities; at least one universal touch channel module (216) which provides a centralized, unique and interactive way for every user to communicate and exchange information regardless of the URls or type of web applications; and at least one web module (218) for rendering web pages.
