Abstract: The present invention is directed at a device port (10) such as device serial port or parallel port. The device port (10) connects circuit board (20) with external connector (30) such as serial port cable or parallel port cable. The device port (10) has a metal path and interface block (40). The metal path have two ends (12a, 12b), one end (12a) adapted to possibly conduct a part of circuit board (20) and another end (12b) adapted to possibly conduct external connector (30). The interface block (40) encases the metal path, form port interface surface to seal device case opening (52) while exposing both ends (12a, 12b) of metal path. The interface block (40) is made of elastomer material. A snap lock pin (44) is adapted as a part of interface block (40) and capable to be snapped to circuit board (20).
