Abstract: The present invention relates to a method that increases detection accuracy while decreases computing load required by checking whether there target(s) exists in the sea area. Target is detected in real-time (100) by acquiring time-series radar signal from receiver (102); converting each sample of said received radar signal into suitable numerical format (104); segmenting said received radar signal into segments (106); determining threshold setting for deciding alert notification to confirm presence of target in illuminated region (108); storing machine readable instructions in storage medium and performing analysis for detection of probable target in frequency domain (11 0); and presenting output decision to user upon confirmation of existence of target from said detection (112). The present invention detects the existence of slow-moving sea target in a specified area whereby the sensitivity is controlled by threshold set by the user.

Abstract: There is provided a method and a system for automatic data ingestion to Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) within a time frame. The method comprises the steps of generating a sample data for a requesting data file using schema attributes (100); performing a MapReduce job for the data ingestion using the sample data to thereby generating an execution profile and constraint information (101); creating, using a self-learning model adopting a multivariate regression analysis, a plurality of data ingestion MapReduce jobs based on the execution profile, the constraint information and a historical execution profile (102); and executing the plurality of data ingestion MapReduce jobs using an open-source project for ingesting the data file to the HDFS (103). The system comprises an initial execution profiler (200), a constraint profiler (201), a data ingestion profiler (202) and a job executer (203). (Figure 1)
