Abstract:
Described herein is an authentication method that enables a new node (400) to join a wireless sensor network, which comprises a plurality of authenticating nodes (200) that previously has joined the wireless sensor network in a proper network configured security setup, by having the new node (400) and each authenticating node (200) to mutually authenticate each other. In general, the new node (400) requests to join the wireless sensor network and thereby instigating each authenticating node (200) that is nearby to the new node (400) to authenticate the new node (400). Once the new node (400) has been successfully authenticated, the new node (400) will proceed to authenticate each authenticating node (200) that is involved in the authentication process. Thereafter, the new node (400) is allowed to join the wireless sensor network, provided that each authenticating node (200) has also been successfully authenticated by the new node (400). Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system having a system having a Internet of Things (IoT) service provider (101), a IoT service broker and a IoT service consumer (102, 103) to distributing load of IoT service-of-service to the service consumer from the service provider, wherein the IoT service provider (101) comprising; at least one protocols module (112) having operating parameters; at least one implementation module for analyze the available IoT service-of-service of IoT service provider (101) based on the parameters in the protocol module; and at least one invocation module connected to the implementation module, having; at least one service manager module to replicate and offload the available IoT service-of-service from the IoT service provider (101); and at least one controller module to mitigate the IoT service-of-service from the service manager module to the IoT service consumer (102, 103) and transmit at least one transaction detail of IoT service-of-service to the IoT service broker.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method for managing the sleeping mode of wireless sensor nodes (110) in a wireless sensor network for managing sleeping schedule of the wireless sensor nodes (110) during an event or crisis. The wireless sensor network comprises of at least one gateway and a plurality of wireless sensor node (110), wherein each wireless sensor node (100) includes a critical stage management module (111) and sleeping schedule management module (112) for managing sleeping mode during an event or crisis. Abstract:
NETWORK SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ENABLING A MOBILE DEVICE TO SELF-CONFIGURE WITHOUT USER INTERVENTION The present invention relates to a network system (10) and a method for enabling a mobile device (100) to self-configure without user intervention. The network system comprises a mobile device (100), a gateway device (200), and a service provider device (300). In the mobile device (100), there are at least four main modules, while in the gateway device (200), there are at least five main modules and in the service provider device (300), there is at least one main module, wherein all modules operate in the network system (10) to achieve a network system (10) that ensures the mobile device (100) is able to self-configure its functionality without user intervention based on services provided by the gateway device (200) in the network system (10). The operation of the modules is also disclosed in the method of the present invention to achieve the self-configuration without user intervention. Best illustrative figure: Figure 1
Abstract:
THE PRESENT INVENTION RELATES TO A SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTI-CHANNEL HANDOFF IN A PERSONAL AREA NETWORK. THIS INVENTION PRESENTS A SOLUTION FOR MOBILE NODE (120) TO GET ASSOCIATED WITH A GATEWAY (110B) THAT OPERATES ON DIFFERENT CHANNEL THAN THE MOBILE NODE'S HOME NETWORK (110A). THE MOBILE NODE (120) CONSTANTLY CHECKS THE SIGNAL STRENGTH OF THE GATEWAY (110A) THAT IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH AND COLLECTS CHANNEL INFORMATION FROM OTHER NEW GATEWAYS (110B). MOBILE NODE (120) DISASSOCIATES WITH THE CURRENT GATEWAY (110A) WHEN ITS RSSI VALUE DROPPED BELOW THE PREDEFINED THRESHOLD AND ASSOCIATE WITH NEW GATEWAY (110B) BASED ON THE GATEWAY PRIORITY SET IN ITS GATEWAY INFORMATION LIST (123).
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system and method for multi-channel handoff in a personal area network. This invention presents a solution for mobile node (120) to get associated with a new gateway (110b) that operates on different channel than the mobile node's current gateway (110a). The mobile node (120) constantly checks the signal strength of the current gateway (110a) that it is associated with and collects channel information from other new gateways (110b). Mobile node (120) disassociates with the current gateway (110a) when its RSSI value dropped below the predefined threshold and associate with new gateway (110b) based on the gateway priority set in its gateway information list (123).
