Abstract: The present invention relates to a system (100) and method for displaying widget on a dashboard. The system (100) comprises a client (10) and a server (20), wherein the client (10) is connected to the server (20). The server (20) provides a service to one or many clients (10) which initiates requests for such services. On the other hand, the client (10) may be a hardware or software that accesses the service made available by the server (20). The system (100) displays one or more widgets on the dashboard based on whether a configuration is done by a user at the client (10) or if an event which occurred in the system (100) is detected by the server (20).
