    Abstract: A toner cartridge comprises an inner tubular container (4) having a toner discharge opening (422) and accommodating a toner; an outer tubular case (6) having a toner passage opening corresponding to the toner discharge opening (422), and being fitted into the inner tubular container (4) relatively rotatably; and a seal member (8) having a sealing portion (82) for covering the toner discharge opening (422), the sealing portion (82) being strippably bonded to the outer peripheral surface of the inner tubular container (4), and an action portion (84) formed as a continuum of the sealing portion (82) and having a front end part secured to the outer tubular case (6). The sealing portion (82) of the seal member (8) has a longitudinal bond portion (821) and a peripheral bond portion (823) defined along the surroundings of the toner discharge opening, and a cut groove (86) provided inwardly of the peripheral bond portion (823) at the peel start side end part thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of a failure caused by an environmental change, and to attain application to even the toner of small particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:A toner hopper having three kinds of toner whose static charge characteristic is different according to humidity, is provided. A magnetic sensor 120 detecting that the toner inside a developing unit is reduced to be less than a prescribed quantity, and a humidity sensor 110 measuring the humidity, are provided. A driving circuit 170 and a motor 180 are operated by a CPU 130, based on the output of the magnetic sensor 120, and a clutch 30a or 30b or 30c is turned on by a changeover circuit 140, to rotate a stirring shaft 25a, or 25b or 25c, so that the toner showing a prescribed static charge characteristic according to the humidity is supplied out of three kinds of toner.

CONSTITUTION:Methanol 14 which dissolves the charge control agent is put into a container 10. The methanol 14 is circulated between a cell 20 for a light- transmissive spectrophotometer and the container 10 by an injector 30, etc., so as to be charged by a prescribed amt. each into the cell 20. After the toner contg. the charge control agent is charged into the container 10, the cell 20 is irradiated with the light of the prescribed light quantity and the absorbance is measured with lapse of time by the spectrophotometer.
