Abstract: There is here disclosed a fresh fish package which is prepared by receiving fresh fish or slices (2) thereof in a container (1) made from a resin substantially having gas barrier properties, particularly preferably a high acrylonitrile content resin, together with a deoxidant (3) and/or in an atmosphere of a nitrogen gas or a mixture of a nitrogen gas and carbon dioxide, and then sealing the container (1). In addition, a method is also provided in which processing is carried out to obtain fresh fish products suitable for the aforesaid fresh fish package which can be preserved and tranported as it is fresh.

Abstract: A packaging material and a hermetically sealed package wherein the inside of the keeping-ownshape container is formed from a gas barrier plastic material into which an agricultural product such as rice is filled and sealed together with an inert gas to provide an efficient storage and transportation system. Once the product is sealed in this package, it is handled in an integral manner from the packaging area to storage through the distribution channels to the final consumption site. A container formed from packaging material of a high nitrile resin comprising a copolymer of an unsaturated nitrile main component and a monomer component which can be copolymerized with it, is suitable for such package and system. Keeping-ownshape characteristics is achieved by using a container formed from a gas barrier plastic material packed with an excess of an inert gas, with the amount of the inert gas adsorbed by the agricultural product taken into consideration, or by using a container made of a gas-barrier plastic material, with a smaller part of the wall being made of a film portion which is thinner than the remaining larger portion of the wall.

Abstract: A novel method and a container are provided for storing an integrated circuit wafer. The method comprises engaging a tray-shaped member and a complementary sheet member to form a closed container by providing a trayshaped member having a recess for holding the wafer and providing a complementary sheet member proportionately sized to, attach to, and cover the recess. At least one of the tray-shaped member and the complementary sheet member is made either from a single layer of at least one highnitrile resin, or a laminated layer of at least one thermoplastic resin and at least one gas barrier resin. The surface of the container that may contact the integrated circuit wafer has a specified resin hardness. The integrated circuit wafer is then placed in the container, an inert gas is added to the container and the integrated circuit wafer is stored in the container in the presence of that inert gas which has been added to the container. The novel container comprises a tray-shaped member having a recess for holding the wafer; and a complementary sheet member proportionately sized to, attached to and cover the recess. At least one of the tray-shaped member and the complementary sheet member is . made from either a single layer of at least one highnitrile resin or a laminated layer of at least one thermoplastic resin and at least one gas barrier resin. The surface of the container that may contact the integrated circuit wafer has a specified resin hardness. The high-nitrile resin has a specified oxygen permeability.
