    Abstract: Un método de mantener la sincronización temporal de un terminal móvil (1), de una red de telecomunicaciones (N), teniendo dicho terminal móvil un reloj de velocidad baja (5) y un reloj de velocidad alta (3); donde el reloj de velocidad baja se mantiene al menos parcialmente en sincronización con un reloj (9) de una estación remota (7) utilizando ráfagas de señal recibidas de dicha estación remota (7), caracterizándose el método por usar el tiempo de llegada de bloques de búsqueda PCH para medir los desfases máximos de correlación de temporización entre un reloj de velocidad alta de red (9) y el reloj de velocidad baja (5) del terminal móvil, y donde los valores máximos de desfases de correlación se usan para corregir la deriva de frecuencia del reloj de velocidad baja.
