    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to observe information stored in a smart card by installing sensor structure in a housing and arranging the smart card storing data on a data detecting parallel position adjacent to the sensor structure. SOLUTION: The housing 11 has a slot 12 capable of receiving the smart card 13 and detecting information stored in the card 13. The slot 12 allows the card 13 to be arranged on the data detecting parallel position adjacent to the sensor structure 15 installed in the housing 11. A visible display device 14 for supplying the visible image of the information stored in the card 13 is arranged in the housing 11. A CPU is interfaced with circuits in a memory and the card 13 and programmed so as to supply, the information stored in the card 13 to the device 14 by an image data format. The device 14 generates an image of data detected from the card 13.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method which corrects a digitally encoded image and draws a more procise image to the human eye by providing a clock generator and a pulse generator which outputs a clock input responding to a nonlinear clock and nonlinear pulses driving display pixels. SOLUTION: A line selecting circuit 108 is equipped with a data latch 304, a group of 72 row drivers 306, and the nonlinear clock generator 302. A row driver 306 is a pulse generator which generates nonlinear pulse-width modulated pulses having pulse width determined by a luminance word value and the nonlinear clock VNLCLOCK for one of nodes ROW0 to ROW71 . Then the nonlinear pulses from the pulse generator drive LED elements for part of a row selection period to generate luminance whose achromatic scale shading is corrected by nonlinear intervals of pulses of the nonlinear clock VNLCLOCK.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device to be easily operated in respect to an improved device for observing information stored in a smart card by providing the smart card with a semiconductor chip such as a microchip for storing information on the smart card and a visual image display. SOLUTION: The microchip 14 is directly connected to a CPU in an electronic part 22. The CPU is programmed so as to interface with a memory and circuit constitution on the microchip 14 and information stored or processed by the microchip 14, i.e., a smart card 12, is sent to the visual display 16 as a format of image data. Then the display 16 generates an image of information stored or processed by the microchip 14. The display 16 generally includes an image forming device 20, at least one driver circuit 24 and a compact display optical element 25.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrated photoelectric package which incorporates a double-sided photoelectric element having a light emitting element (LED) and a vertical cavity surface emission laser (VCSEL). SOLUTION: The package includes a double-sided photoelectric element 10 which has a substrate 14 having a first major surface 13, a plurality of LEDs 12 formed on the first major surface 13 of the substrate 14, and at least one VCSELs 16 formed on a second major surface of the substrate 14 opposed to the first major surface. Mounting structures 52, which have conductor members 54 cooperative with the LEDs 12 and VCSELs 16 of the photoelectric element 10, are provided so that the double-sided photoelectric element 10 is mounted on inner major surfaces 57 of the structures. Alternatively, a driver substrate may have the mounting structure 52 and an electrical connection part which forms an interface with the double sided photoelectric element 10. In this case, a plurality of driver circuits are connected with the mounting structure 52 and the doublesided photoelectric element 10 through a plurality of connecting pads formed on the driver substrate.

SOLUTION: The non-speckle laser projection type display includes a liquid crystal material 16. A projection type display screen includes the liquid crystal material 16 which attains an extremely scattered state when there is no impression of driving voltage 22. When a high-frequency low-voltage signal is impressed to the liquid crystal projection type display screen, liquid crystal molecules 15 vibrate slightly at a frequency higher than 60 Hz, by which the speckle patterns are rapidly changed and to negate the speckles and to make the speckle invisible. In addition, the non-speckle laser display system including a laser image source and the liquid crystal projection type display screen is provided as well.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the verification and utilization of information stored on a smart card by providing a portable housing having a viewing aperture and a visual image display. SOLUTION: A housing 11 also has a visual display 14 mounted inside for providing the visual images of information stored on a smart card 13 and information concerning the processing of job to be executed by utilizing a smart card device 10 and communication with a host data base. Inside the housing 11, an electronic part 16 is mounted in the state of conduction with sensor structure 15 and a transceiver 17 for communication and these components are directly mounted on a circuit board equipped with the electronic part 16, sensor structure 15 and transceiver 17 for communication so as to mutually connect them. The housing is positioned while being electrically connected to a device 20 provided with the two-dimensional array of light emitting elements connected for providing complete real images inside the electronic part 16 and visual display 14.
