Abstract: A communication system (100) for synchronizing implementation of configuration information includes a network manager (105) for transmitting the configuration information and communication devices (110, 115) coupled to the network manager (105) for receiving the configuration information and responding with confirmations indicating that the configuration information is acceptable. In response to receiving the confirmations, the network manager (105) provides to the communication devices (110, 115) an implementation time at which the communication devices (110, 115) begin to utilize the configuration information.
