    Abstract: An apparatus and method of distinguishing a frame on a channel shared by a plurality of users. A unique identifier can be obtained for each of a set of mobile communication devices (315). A message intended for one of the mobile communication devices can be obtained. The message can be scrambled using a long code generated using a mobile communication device specific long code mask to obtain a scrambled message (335).
