One example can include a first portion extending from a hinge end to a distal end that includes a first magnet and a second portion extending from a hinge end to a distal end and includes a second magnet. A translation mechanism can cause a button to both send control signals for electronic components of the device and create a force that acts on the first magnet to affect magnetic attraction between the first and second magnets.
