Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable continuous communication in three specific areas on the earth and to enable continuous position measurement by always establishing a communication link for one satellite in three areas nearly directly below a remote point formed on the earth surface and enabling a communication between satellites above the areas. SOLUTION: A ground fixed station 203 sends and receives a control signal radio wave for communication line control to and from a satellite 201 above an area A. On satellites 201 and 202, repeaters which repeat and send radio waves from mobile stations to mobile stations and fixed stations are mounted. A satellite communication is made between the satellites 201 and 202, and a satellite above a 3rd area. Each satellite stays for about 6 hours within a range reaching a high latitude through an ascending node. Thus, three associative recursion type satellite groups have an ascending node latitude and an ascending node passing time of the heat satellites adjusted properly to constitute a hemisphere-limited type position measurement communication composite system which is capable of three-satellite position measurement.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a module coupling type space structure on a large scale such as a solar beam power-generating system capable of simplifying the construction and maintenance the weight reduced and allowing establishment of the attitude control. SOLUTION: A structural module 1 is formed from a cruciform mast unit 2 having four masts 2-1, 2-2, 2-3, 2-4 accommodatable and a mast driving and supporting part 3 to support the masts upon spreading them cruciformly and a membrane material 4 such as a membrane-form solar cell installed in a rhombic envelope space formed by tying together the tips of the spread mast unit cruciform, and the tips of the mast units of a plurality of rhombic structural modules are coupled separably and put in combination through mast coupling units 5 so that this module coupling type space structure is accomplished consisting of a large structure in a flat plate shape or hollow three-dimensional shape.
