    Abstract: A drip irrigation system (10, 100) includes a distribution pipe (12, 120) and drip irrigation pipes (14, 140) that branch off from communication with the distribution pipe. Each drip pipe has a flushing valve (20, 200) coupled to a downstream end and at least some of the drip pipes have each an inlet valve (16, 160) coupled to an upstream end for communication with the distribution pipe.
