Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make much management information storable without sharply increasing data volume and to output also document data without storing a conventional document type data base, in a time-space information system in which time element is added to space information data structure. SOLUTION: Vector data defining a closed area space by vector elements and connector data applying optional attribute information to connector elements constituting representative point coordinates optionally applied to the closed area space are prepared, both the data are related by using the representative point coordinates applied to the closed area space as a key, time information is applied to these data, and when attribute information is changed, the new attribute information is applied to an optional coordinate point in each change. Thus time elements can be easily added to the data structure of a geographical information system for processing space.
