    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a varnish that is a hybrid and a composite capable of manufacturing winding wires unexpectedly presenting an ability to withstand partial discharge that is greatly increased as compared with wires coated with a varnish of prior art, particularly at high temperatures. SOLUTION: This varnish composition is a varnish for the winding wires containing a copolymer obtained from a thermoplastic or a thermosetting resin and containing units derived from a silane and a mineral filler selected from the compounds of B, Al, Ti, Zn, Zr, Cr, Fe, a silicate and a mixture thereof. The resin is selected from among a polyamideimide(PAI), a polyesterimide(PE), a polyimide(PI), a polyester(PE), a polyurethane(PU) and a polyvinyl acetal(PVA). The varnish makes it possible to obtain the winding wires of lifetime that is increased by having an improved ability to withstand the partial discharge and voltage peak even at high temperatures. The varnish composition is applicable to the manufacturing of coils, in particular for variable frequency controllers and converters.
