    Abstract: A forming die including of a holder having an upper portion and a lower portion, each portion having a main substrate extending in a first longitudinal direction. A fixing substrate is located on one end of the main substrate and a movable substrate is located on an opposite end of the main substrate and is movable along the main substrate in the first longitudinal direction. A plurality of die forming segments are situated between the movable substrate and the fixing substrate. Tie rods extend along the main substrate outside the periphery of the plurality of die forming segments, and connect the movable substrate and the fixing substrate to one another.

    Abstract: Provided are a method for filling an electrolyte solution and a battery structure of a lithium secondary battery comprising an internal electrode body formed by winding a positive electrode, and a negative electrode, with sandwiching a separator therebetween around the outer periphery of a core, and an electrolyte solution to impregnate said internal electrode body; said method being excellent in the productivity, and battery performance as well, and being characterized by an easy filling of an electrode solution, with minimization of excessive electrode solution in the battery, by virtue of the provision of an electrolyte solution injection opening in a specific position, through which the electrolyte solution is injected and extracting efficiently by using a nozzle for injection and/or extraction of electrolyte solution.

    Abstract: To provide a lithium secondary cell, which is excellent in productivity since a cell structure is simple and easy for assembly. Provided is a lithium secondary cell having: an internal electrode body including a positive electrode plate, a negative electrode plate, the positive electrode plate and the negative electrode plate being wound and laminated around an external periphery wall of a hollow cylindrical winding core, and inside the internal electrode body a nonaqueous electrolyte solution being impregnated, a cylindrical cell case contained in this internal electrode body 1 with both ends being opened, and two electrode caps sealing the above described internal electrode body 1 at both the open ends of this cell case. The electrode cap has a plate member sealing the internal electrode body and disposed so as to seal both the open ends of the above described cell case, an external terminal member protruding onto the surface of the electrode caps to lead out currents to outside, and an internal terminal member brought into connection with the internal electrode body and taking out currents from the internal electrode body, and an elastic body and at least two of the above described plate member, the external terminal member and the internal terminal member are joined together for construction. Furthermore, there is also provided an assembly of lithium secondary cells.

    Abstract: A lithium secondary cell wherein an electrode assembly (1) comprising a positive plate and a negative plate that are wound or stacked through a separator and impregnated with a nonaqueous electrolytic solution is contain ed in a cylindrical cell case (16) having electrode caps at both ends, an elast ic body (23) is disposed between the cell case (16) and each of the electrode caps, and the cell case is sealed through a caulking part formed by pressing the portion of the cell case in contact with each of the elastic bodies (23) . The relation between the diameter Rbody (mm) of the body portion of the cell case (16) and the diameter Rtop (mm) of each of the caulking parts is expressed by Rbody>Rtop. By strengthening the caulking between the cell c ase and each of the electrode caps, there is no gaps among the cell case and the electrode caps in the caulking parts, thereby preventing leak of the electrolytic solution and improving the long-term stability and reliability.

Moreover, in a method of managing a forming die having an upper die member and a lower die member, which are constructed respectively a plurality of segments, the forming die is installed or uninstalled to a press apparatus by installing or uninstalling the upper die member and the lower die member, in which a predetermined number of segments are respectively integrated by using a die-setting holder, as a unit.
